In your project, open Proposals and choose New proposal. Name the document, review the client details and included items, then check the pricing. Use training data while learning. This demonstration applied ten percent markup, producing a displayed total of twenty-four thousand, one hundred thirty-three dollars and ninety cents. Check quantities, trade prices, shipping, discounts and taxes for your own proposal. Choose Run to save and generate the proposal. Wait for Ready, then inspect Preview or Download. Editing fields alone does not replace the saved PDF. Regenerate after changes. The opened PDF showed the edited chair quantity and marked-up price. Inspect every page before sending; this demo only checked the upper first-page rows. Email client is a separate sending action, and no email was sent here.
Before you start
- Reviewed project products and client details.
- At least one included item.
Step by step
- 1
Choose the proposal
Open New proposal or select an existing proposal. Give it a useful name and review the client and company details.
- 2
Review the line items
In Items, check included products, quantities, Trade price, per-item shipping, and markup overrides. Existing proposals retain saved item values; project-card changes do not refresh them.
- 3
Check the pricing
Client prices use Trade plus the resolved markup. Discount applies to merchandise. Per-item shipping is added after the merchandise discount, and tax applies to the resulting amount including shipping. Verify the displayed totals.
- 4
Run and review
Choose Run or Run (regenerate) to save and generate the PDF. Wait for Ready, then inspect Preview and Download. Editing fields alone does not update the saved PDF.
- 5
Check again before sending
The Email client action sends to the saved client address. Regenerate after changing the address, items, or pricing, and check the updated file before sending.
Retail, Trade and No markup
Retail is a reference price. Trade is your editable cost per unit and initially matches Retail. Enter your actual cost if different. Client price adds the applicable markup. No markup uses 0% for that item.
Trade costs and markup percentages are not printed on the client PDF.
If the PDF is not ready
Run requires at least one included item. If generation fails, read the error, correct the proposal and choose Run (regenerate). Email client is available after generation completes.
Preview appears beside the form on wider screens and as a tab on narrower screens. Use Download if the PDF will not display inline.
