# Find a missing or outdated export

> Use export history and saved proposal state to find the right document.

## Before you start

- A previously requested export or proposal.

## Step by step

1. **Check the job status**

   Queued or Generating is still in progress. If Failed, open the job details and inspect the reported problem before repeating it.

2. **Download directly**

   For Ready exports, choose the file under Available Formats. A missing email attachment does not by itself establish that generation failed.

3. **Regenerate after changes**

   An old download does not reflect later edits. Export the schedule again. For a proposal, review saved line items and use Run (regenerate).

4. **Inspect before sharing**

   Open the actual PDF, workbook, or ZIP and confirm its contents. A success toast or an opened preview is not proof of email delivery.

## Check the result

You have opened the correct, current file and checked its contents.
